Highbury Trading is a London-based trading house. We represent producers, move goods through reliable wholesale channels, and advise businesses entering new markets — with the discretion and rigour of a British trading firm.
Highbury Trading Limited was incorporated in England & Wales in September 2021 with a simple idea: international trade works best when someone on the ground genuinely understands both sides of the deal.
From our base in South London we act as commercial agents for manufacturers and suppliers, run non-specialised wholesale operations across a broad range of goods, and provide management consultancy to companies expanding into or out of the UK.
We deliberately stay lean. Every engagement is handled by people who negotiate, ship and settle — not by layers of account managers.
Our services mirror the way goods actually move: from producer, through negotiation and logistics, to the buyer — with sound advice at every step.
We represent producers of specific, often technical product lines in the UK and abroad — finding qualified buyers, negotiating terms and closing on the principal's behalf.
For clients with diverse catalogues we act as agents across a variety of goods — consumer products, materials and equipment — matching supply to demand efficiently.
We buy, hold and resell goods on our own account through non-specialised wholesale channels, giving suppliers immediate liquidity and buyers dependable availability.
Market-entry strategy, supplier due diligence, pricing and distribution planning — practical advice grounded in deals we execute ourselves, not theory.
Three principles guide every mandate we accept.
Clear contracts, transparent commissions and full regulatory compliance. We only take mandates we can honour, and we say no early when we can't.
Pricing moves daily; relationships take years. We maintain both — an active network of buyers, suppliers and freight partners across the UK, Europe and beyond.
From the first enquiry to settled payment, one team stays accountable. Documentation, logistics coordination and after-sales issues included.
Tell us what you make, what you need, or where you want to sell. We reply to every serious enquiry within one business day.
New suppliers: send a short line card or product list and your target markets. We'll respond with an honest view on demand and a proposed route to market.
Buyers: tell us the specification, volume and delivery terms you need. If we can't source it competitively, we'll say so and point you in the right direction.
